Ron Balamuth, Ph.D. is a psychologist and psychoanalyst. He is a graduate of New York University’s Doctoral Program in psychology and New York University’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. He has been in private practice with adults and families in New York City for 30 years, and is on the faculty of Columbia University’s Teachers College Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, Profectum, ICDL, and the William Alanson White Institute. In addition to his work as a psychologist, he is trained in somatic experiencing, hypnosis, meditation, and mindfulness.
